Small print : There’s no catch. Our normal prices are £6 per high-res image file. Our £40 event guarantee means you never pay more than £40 – less than the cost of 7 images – for any one event. Our bundles just take that idea and go crazy! Normally, for example, a round of Reading Track League would be one event – we’ve made the whole season one event. We’ve done the same for the rounds of the Junior Road Race Series we covered and the Eelmoor Circuit Series. There are twelve ‘events’ in all (see below) – including the Manchester round of the World Cup and the World Track Champs. Order two or three events and you get the 2nd and 3rd ones for £10 each and a 4th event will cost just £5 more – or for £75 you can have all photos from all events – which is likely to be dozens of photos. All you have to do is choose how many events, tell us which ones (and a few simple details to help us find you like who you are the club/team you ride for) and we’ll do the rest.

Copyright remains with swarbrick.com/Guy Swarbrick. Photos are licensed for personal use – printing, sending to friends and relatives, Facebook profile pictures etc – and for personal websites. Website use must be credited. Non-commercial use on team sites is possible – with permission and with a credit. Any other commercial use – including sponsors webs sites or other marketing materials and editorial use – requires permission from us and will almost certainly require an additional fee.

* We weren’t at every single round of every event – and were only at the last two days of the Senior Track Champs. In the incredibly unlikely situation that the total value of the  photos of a rider from the events selected is less than the value of the separate photos, we will refund the difference.

Photos from the National Youth and Junior Track Championships are now available to buy – from £6 for a ‘wallpaper’-sized image file to £40 for all the images of a single rider at the event – plus prints from 8×6″ to canvas art prints. Click on the images below to go to the galleries.

If you’d like a hi-res file of any of the images, they’re £6 each. Email the file names to guy@swarbrick.com and the payment to the same address at PayPal. There should be photos of everyone – and there should be a dozen or so of most 6 hour riders. Nobody pays more than £40 for images of a single rider from a single event, so if you’ve found 6 or more, pay £40 and email us your race number and we’ll sort the rest out.

We don’t do automatic downloads because we hand check and edit every image before we send them out. That does mean it can take a day or two – especially in the first few days after the event. If an image looks a little dark.or over exposed, don’t worry – we only upload them if we’re confident we can fix them. And if we can’t, we’ll refund your payment.

We can do prints, too – from 10×7″ to A1 – email us for details.

The gallery below is great for browsing quickly, but for hunting through or searching by race number, you may find this easier.

Images in these galleries are low resolution, lower quality JPG preview versions. The light was very variable today, so some of the colours look a little off in the previews and some of the riders are in shadow, but all customer images are hand edited from the original RAW files and have a full money back guarantee if you’re not  entirely satisfied.

It was the only thing I came for, but I have to say it was the right decision. The celebrity Fiat racing was utter chaos. Hoy was due to do that too but all the spare cars were destroyed in the first two heats!

I spent a day finding the perfect spot, the perfect camera setup, the perfect plan for the two lap race… Well, I can kid myself it was perfect as it will never be tested!

The weather’s much better today. Dry but overcast, which is fine. For this sort of thing I prefer the diffuser on my natural light source. Less to worry about in terms of getting the sun behind you, shadows etc.

Got our first glimpse of Hoy this morning having a couple of sighting laps. Taking it pretty easy except for a quick blast up over the bridge, with what looked like two pairs of bib-tights over the top of his Sky HD+ skinsuit. It’s all a bit of a circus, really and I can’t honestly say he’s ever looked as though he’s having fun.

I tried out the 1.7TC with the 400mm and, as I suspected, it’s a bit long for the cars but I think it’ll be just right for Chris’ second half lap – the infield bit of the loop – and for the podium ceremony which, from where I intend to do the Hoy vs Hamilton race, is on the opposite side of the stadium. We’ll see.

I also ended up with 400mm on for the press conference, which was less than ideal – especially as I arrived late and was stuck behind the press scrum with – much more appropriate – 70-200s and flashes. It wasn’t entirely my fault. I was told Hoy wasn’t going to be there; then told that he was. So I rushed down 8 flights of stairs and arrived late to find that he wasn’t, in fact, there, and that it was just a group photo call. I’ve been more annoyed, of course. But not since 8am this morning.

They’ve just started to let the public in. Time to go to work!

* I’ve also re-checked the confirmation email and it did say 10am on it for the car park. Still utterly stupid, but partly my fault for not a) reading it properly and b) staying in bed.
